CLÉ MOVIE POSTER RELEASED AT CANNES |
 Our first look at the poster for Vanessa’s upcoming feature film, La Clé (“The Key”), was released at the Cannes Film Festival in May. Vanessa can be seen in the poster in the arms of fellow cast member Guillaume

| FIRST
PART OF A "MAKING OF DIVINIDYLLE" VIDEO RELEASED TODAY |
 Vanessa’s official website released the first part of a “Making of” video. In this first clip, we get a look inside the recording studio where Vanessa, -M-, and various musicians are at work on the new album. The clip is in black & white and plays for about 3 minutes. Vanessa’s fans can expect to see part 2 on June 18. Also today, Vanessa’s website announced a contest in which the prize is a private listening to the new album in the beginning of July. | DIVINE
IDYLLE DEBUTS ON FRENCH RADIO TODAY |
The first single from Vanessa’s new CD, Divine Idylle, debuts on France’s Europe2 radio station today. | DIVINIDYLLE
WILL FEATURE 11 NEW SONGS |
France’s TF1 provides more information about Vanessa’s new CD, Divinidylle, in an article posted on its online site today. The new CD, which will be released September 3, will feature 11 new songs. Vanessa tells the news agency she first began work on the songs in November 2005 with Matthieu Chedid and Franck Monnet. EXTRACT OF NEW SINGLE RELEASED |
A 50 second audio clip of Vanessa’s new single, Divine Idylle, was released today to the pubic through Vanessa’s official website. The song is described as “Early 60's, hands are clapping, rounded bass, guitar is waving to slightly turn into a very nowadays rock. (We are) Going through 3 decades in less than 3 minutes." RUMOURS: NEW SINGLE EXPECTED JUNE 7 AND CD SEPTEMBER 3 |
A photo of Vanessa inside a recording was released today along with the rumor the first single from Vanessa’s new CD is expected to debut on French radio June 7 with the new CD released September 3. Also today, venues in Nantes and Toulouse announce November concert dates. Vanessa’s record label Barclay, distributed through Universal France, has not confirmed the rumors. ABOUT VANESSA'S NEW CD AND TOUR |
Johnny Depp told reporters we can expect the release of Vanessa’s new CD in the fall. “I’m going to take some time off in early 2008 and just be with Vanessa and my kiddies. Vanessa has a new album coming out in the fall. She’ll have to tour for it—we’ll be around for that.” This news is in keeping with an earlier report in the French publication L'Express, which said Vanessa's new CD would be released in the second half of 2007 with a tour in 2008.
