Summer 2003, Vanessa Paradis posed for the mail-order catalogue La Redoute. She followed Emmanuelle Beart and was followed by Emmanuelle Seigner. La Redoute used Vanessa and the Emmanuelle actresses to help change their image to something more upscale. Vanessa brought designers Paul & Joe, Antik Batik, Michel Vivien, Alexandra Neal, Corleone, and Vanessa Bruno to the catalogue -- that is, 100€ clothes, shoes, and handbags instead of the usual 30€ fare. In the final photo, Vanessa wears a headband designed for her by her favorite hairdresser, John Nollet. She wore a variation of it to the New York premiere of Once Upon a Time in Mexico.
