Divinidylle

Divinidylle is the title of Vanessa’s new album set for release September 3, 2007. It is Vanessa’s first studio album since the 2000 release of Bliss.

The album will feature 11 new songs, including the first single, Divine Idylle, which was released to radio stations and French iTunes on June 7, 2007.

Vanessa told France’s TF1 she first began work on the songs in November 2005 when she was in the recording studio with Matthieu (-M-) Chedid and Franck Monnet. It was during that session she asked Chedid to produce, co-write, play guitar, and sing on the new disc.

Joining Vanessa on the new album are –M- (guitar), Patrice Renson (drums), Albin de la Simone (keyboards), Jérôme Goldet (bass guitar), and Olivier Lude (engineer). Franck Monnet, Thomas Fersen, and Brigitte Fontaine have contributed songs.

A concert tour consisting of 30 dates begins in October 2007. –M- and the other musicians who worked on the new album are expected to accompany Vanessa on stage. Tickets to several of the concerts are now on sale, including three dates at the Zenith in Paris.
